In the Loop With California’s Future Governor

In May, Michael gave his first major address as a candidate for governor of California. His Alma Mater, Stevenson School, a K-12 boarding and day school with campuses in Carmel and Pebble Beach, invited him to give their commencement address.

It was a stunning day to celebrate the class of 2024 at the school’s Pebble Beach campus, which borders the famous Spyglass Hill Golf Course.

In his remarks, Michael shared with the graduates and their loved ones stories about his humble beginnings, time at school, and other formative experiences that have shaped his vision for California.

The campaign also hosted a watch party in Michael’s hometown of Seaside.

During the trip to Monterey County, Michael spent time with various community members, from small business owners and non-profits to youth and adult development organizations. The campaign hosted a community event in Seaside, which welcomed new and old supporters. The entire campaign enjoyed meeting Californians and hearing about what matters to them.
